Haizen is an astrologer, writer, teacher and musician. Featured on E! Entertainment ("Hollywood Horoscopes") and Fox Radio ("Rock Talk" with Alan Handleman), Haizen's philosophy is that astrology is essentially a spiritually-based study designed to bring us into greater harmony with the Eternal Way of Life -- the "Tao", but also has great practical value as well... Certified at the professional level of Natal Astrology by Western States Astrology and Jeannette Glenn, who wrote for American Astrology and Horoscope Magazine for many years -- Haizen has been on the faculty of the American Federation of Astrologers in New Orleans and Chicago as a Western Tropical astrologer... Before becoming a full-time stargazer, Haizen performed as a jazz musician on flute and alto sax with Paul Horn and Stan Kenton, among others... His other interests include the literature of Henry Miller, Anais Nin, Charles Bukowski, and the mystical teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti... Haizen has been living in the red rock paradise of Sedona, Arizona, for the past ten years and specializes in one-on-one personal consultations... Within the past year, Haizen has switched from Western Tropical Astrology to the Lahiri Sidereal Systems' Approach to Vedic Astrology as developed by Professor V.K. Choudhry of India.
